Walking

We are super lucky to have some really beautiful trails close to home. We are located next to the hidden valley (no ranch, sorry) and I just love taking the doggies for walks (they love it too). Here's a picture from yesterday morning. Since Mr. P is such a good boy, and won't wander too far, and will come back when I call him, and is slow enough so if he doesn't feel like listening I can still catch him, I can let him go, free to wander. I do have to be a little careful though, since he tends to get really fixed on scent trails. As I type, the dogs are looking at me through the baby gate, it's like they know what I'm typing about and are trying to make me feel really guilty. It's our new rule that I take them out everyday (so we don't have to call Caesar) and stimulate their/EMMAS little dog brains. Maybe I'll go do that....before things get ugly.

p.s. here's the "pregnit" blog.... http://hambump.blogspot.com/

  1. Silly puppies. You're dong a good job taking them out and excercising them... They're doing a lot better because of it. Her brains are just too big!!!

  3. Thomas-thanks :)
Jenny-I think we would be a lot safer if we stuck to the trails, and not go down by the river. Plus maybe I could get Brad to let me borrow something for "protection". Just in case our assailant thought to bring beef jerky to pay off the dogs.
